I mounted a handgun scope on my New Englander using Bushnell Phantom mounts which use the existing holes of the rear sight. It is like a scout rifle setup, this way I didn't have to bend the hammer to clear a scope.
Exercise caution in your purchase.
Some of the TC produced mounts except only scopes made for TC.
They had a proprietary clamping system for a while on their equipment.
The screw holes attach to the factory drilled and tapped holes for the iron sights.
The sides of the mounts clamp onto a dovetail on the bottom of the scopes themselves.
If you don't have a TC scope of the right style (with the dovetail) and of the appropriate eye relief (for the tapped holes location) then the mount will do you no good without at least a couple of tubes of JB Weld.
