I am looking for a Lancaster style bench gun that I built in the early 80's and was stolen around 1985 in the North Dallas Texas area. Had an old correct Bill Large marked barrel and a " name plate " on the left side of the stock with "Somers" on it. Can't remember what else I had put on the plate. 54 cal or close to it, no false muzzle. I think it was about 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" across the flats. Full bedded. Can't remember the lock. Probably Siler. A large "rest plate " was inlaid into the forestock. It is definitely not an offhand gun. Striped maple. Would like to get it back in the family for my son or at least know where it is and is it happy. I only shot it a few times since I was Bench gun crazy at the time with multiples from H&H ( Fat Alice) a few Bresiens, the flint and a couple of others. Shot in the Texas, Oklahoma , Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi areas from 79 to 84. Any info would be appreciated
