First time builder woes!! I am putting together a longrange Renegade. 36 inch Hoyt in 45, 1x20. Soule 4" rear sight, Front sight is Shaver .500 tall aperture. Hole in eye cup is 1.36 above barrel. Even if I went to .850 front, I would still need .500. Does anybody make a 3/8 dovetail half inch sight riser? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

I had Jim Kluskens. aka Distant Thunder out of WI make two custom front sights that I need the extra heights for.

He closed his shop, but he might make a front sight still if you ask. I know he has a shop set up at his house now.

Weaver makes a riser that uses the existing 3/8' dovetail. I believe it is 1/2' in height and it has a 3/8" dovetail on top of the riser to mount the front sight. Looks kinda funky, but if that is what you need, then you have to live with it.
