I picked up a real nice Hawken rifle for my grandson. It has the correct St Louis hawk and stamp on its barrel, but I'm not familiar with the stamp on the lock plate. Is anybody familiar with, and can tell me about CJH lock.
The gun is left-handed, and looks like it came right out of Art Ressell's shop, but I talked to Greg, and he says they never made a left-handed Hawken
