FOR SALE: 18TH CENTURY STYLE HAVERSACK
This is a newly made haversack of an 18th century style. The pattern came from Barmann, Floyd A., 1980, A guide to Clothing & Accouterments of Frontier Militia in the American Revolution, Project ’80 Committee, Springfield, Ohio, p.35. It was constructed of heavy 10.2 OZ 100% linen canvas with a lining of 50/50 linen/cotton. It has been hand sewn with linen thread and is fastened closed with hand cast pewter buttons. The haversack measures 14.5” X 14.5” with a 7” flap. The linen strap is 1 ¾” wide and 55” long. I am asking $45 shipped to you in CUSA. Any questions, PM me.
