Doing more closet cleaning. I have a .40cal. rifle built in the Early Deep River style by Joe Schell. All furniture is hand-forged. The lock is an L&R/ Roller lock. The barrel is a Rice 42" B weight. 1" at the breech and 13/16" at the muzzle. LOP is 13-3/4", and the weight is 7.8lbs. According to Bill Ivey's book on N.C. rifles, the swivel box was unique to the Randolph/ Guilford County area of North Carolina. $1800 shipped.
