For sale Journal, $50.00 + $8.00 s&h This journal is made of 5 oz. oil tanned Calf Hide, it’s Chestnut Brown measures 8” wide by 4-1/2 “ high, (closed). The overall length (unfolded) is 8” wide by 15” long. The Journal contains a large rear pocket 8” by 3-1/2” It’s all hand stitched with artificial sinew for a period correct look. The journal comes with an off white, unlined filler, easily replaceable by untying the lace that holds it in. The fillers are available through eBay. I’ll give you the name of the seller if you’d like. This journal was the result of a request for a firing line notebook.( loads, patch thickness, cap info. etcetera) The person who requested it liked it so much that I’m making more of them. The journal stays closed with a Brown oil tanned lace thong that wraps around the book 3 times and measures 41” It can be cut to whatever length works best for you.
