WANTED lead shot and round balls

I like to buy some lead shot, #4, #5 or #6 lead shot. Also would like to try different sized round balls for my 62/20 gauge. Barrel mics at .061. When I see what round ball/ patch… or roundball over card combo works the best I’ll buy a mold.. Thanks!

Try Sage'soutdoors.com I just bought 3 lbs of number 6 shot from them last week. $13 dollars and change plus shipping $25.00 total. Could not find any anywhere else. Some places only listed 25 or 50 pounds at a time but usually were out of stock. I got mine in a few days.

That’s not a bad price, however I’m looking for smaller quantities to try so I can try and pattern. Then when I find the “ sweet load” I’ll order in bulk. Thanks… I’ll keep this company in mind.

As vtflatlander said, shot is hard to find in stock.
I recently drove 75 miles to each way, to pick up 10 bags for my unmentionable shotguns, and was thrilled to find a new supplier. Price wasn't horrible, and my cost to get it wasn't bad either. No way I could have afforded to have 10 bags shipped.

There are other places out there for shot, but BPI has the best selection when you make a choice of what you want.

How much shot are you looking for? I think I got some #6 around here someplace and I could spare a pound or two... enough to pattern a gun with anyway. Easiest way, though, would be to go to WalMart, buy some unmentionable shells and open 'em up with a Barlow, then you would have pre-measured shot charges. Might cost you ten bucks.... though I haven't priced those in a while. Most gun shops have partial boxes and loose rounds that you can pick through. They'll sell 'em cheap just to get rid of 'em.

I bought a gang mold for fishing sinkers off Amazon to mold my buckshot, it's cheaper than a bullet mold and does ten at a time.

Let me get back to you on that, I have some shot and roundballs coming. I need to do some experimenting.. when I find the load that shoots the best, then I’ll get with ya.
