Bought this recently. It was built by a Texas gunsmith named Jim Phillips (Deceased) in May of 1991. It is number 12, so I assume he built numerous rifles. Has gorgeous wood, but what strikes me is all of the German silver custom inlays, including a little "sheath" for nipple prick under cheekpiece. Never seen this. Probably unfired. Anyone familiar with any other examples of Mr. Phillips' work? Would love to find out more about his work.
