I am looking for some Kansas or Missouri muzzleloading shooting events I can attend and participate. I know about the CW re-enactor events but am looking for any more practical shooting events where guys can shoot and experiment with different loads, techniques etc..

I just sent my application for the Fort Osage Muzzleloaders Association.

Spoke with Jim Thorp, he seems like a great guy...passionate about the sport and it's members. Sign me up...

I just signed up looking for new shooting opportunities.

Jeff, there is a club not far from you. We shot there once many-many moons ago. The have a trophy re-entry bench match that is quite famous. Another guy and I shot it out until dark for first place, he finally won. When the memory kicks in and I remember where it is, I'll let you know.

The one at Hermitage is a really neat one. Last year they a really good trade row. The primitive side was the biggest it had been in years (that's what a lot of people where saying)
