Here is my Kibler Southern mountain rifle in 45 caliber curly Ash. I am keeping this one for myself. The ramrod tip I made from a deer horn of a deer I killed. I zeroed it in yesterday first two shots was in the balls each touching at 52 yards had to file the site. Just a touch to get it perfect the photos are taken on my phone. My computer is down, the picture is do not do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful.

Looks great as usual buddy! Mine is currently about 1-1.5" low at 50 yards without touching the sights. I'm a little leery of filing the sight since it's already pretty small, hopefully I don't need to take much off.

Not only beautiful and gorgeous, but certainly UNIQUE and I can understand completely making this one your own never to part with. :thumb:

Care to share with us your process for getting the grain figuring and the curl to stand out so independently and magnificently?

OK, what I done to finish the stock after all the prep work I did two coats of Ferric nitrate then two coats of lye wash then bone black mixed in non-polarized, pure tongue oil to bring out the black stripes. Then after it dried, for a day I put on a coat of laurel mountain Forge American walnut, then five coats of chambers oil.
