Well, it's done... A few boo-boo's along the way but nothing serious. I do have a slight gap between the barrel and the rear of the stock. Jim gave me an idea of the fix but it didn't seem to work. Also, pfff, I acquired a small scratch in the finish. I'll eventually resolve those two issues though. Overall, however, I'm quite pleased. It seems that even a rookie can put together one of these rifles.

The other examples in this post are extraordinary.
