I would not shoot it . Depending on the cost and the make of the shotgun ( you don't want to over capitalize it ) I would get some one who knows about soldering barrels together , or ribs on barrels , to have a look . It is not too hard to do if you know what you are doing but you must know what you are doing .
When I was 11 my neighbor asked me to shoot his wife's cat when they were in town ,so he wouldn't get the blame for the cat disappearing and lent me his recently reconditioned hammer12 ga ,double . I shot the cat with 2 shots just because I had 2 shots and the barrels fell apart .There was a considerable amount of rust between the barrels .
But you got the cat?

Thank you. I will not shoot it as it is. Barry.

Yeah my brother is pretty excited!! What a neat piece of history to own!! If we ever shoot it we will be glad of the 20 gauge! I hope to build a Fowler later this year, we’ll see if the pennies add up. If I do them well have some shot on hand. The end of the ramrod has a built in hidden worm. Any thoughts if this is original? I will post pic later. Would the worm be for pulling out wadding or tow?
If the rod is ebony don't use it , if it snaps it will splinter in a nasty way . In fact don't use the original rod, Make and use a hickory rod , you can buy the rods and rod ends from various suppliers . My Henry Nock has a repaired ebony rod .with a jag like yours , the worm /screw is for cleaning more than anything

They are usally called "Dolphin"hammers in U.K. Smells a bit like a very nicely converted Flint gun to me..O.D.
It does not look like a converted flint to me , all the conversions from flint to percussion that I have seen use a drum in the conversion , those hammers are beautifully tucked in behind the barrels and are exceptionally well made . I have seen one gun which started life as a caplock , was converted to pin fire then to centerfire , so anything is possible .

I have various conversion in my gun room. A10br convertion of a 10br ML to an Unmentionable Jones patent by a famious Liverpool maker. Must have been used a lot as it rattles like an old cart.
A Ryan & Watson D&N convearsion that has been reverted to flint(seen on here) and a Twigg 10br Duck Gun from about 1780 re breached as a flint gun and then to Percussion. There is nothing New. Hope the photos arrive

It’s not the change in the OS (operating system) causing the issues directly. Has the photos file format changed? Might just need to choose a different format. .jpeg, .gif etc from the drop down option.
