Hi, I'm Joe.
As I get older and older....my firearms interests lean further and further toward the ancient hand cannon. Just entered my flintlock stage now. Exciting!

Hello Joe, welcome aboard!
What flintlock? We like pictures.
Two sons, a daughter-in-law (carrying my first grand-baby) in the Boise area. Spent some years in the southern 1/2 of Idaho myself.

Acquired a .54 bench rifle from a fellow on the ALR site. Saving my pennies for a lighter hunting rifle. Shot a friends flinter once while he sat in the pickup laughing at me. If the wind will let up here I'll shoot that bench rifle. I started shooting muzzle loaders in the early seventies but never owned a flintlock. Thanks for the welcome.

Hi Joe, welcome! I find myself afflicted with the same age related problem. Have moved from centerfire to percussion and now flintlock. It is a pleasant journey. Have fun!
