I am a veteran of the Marine Corps (51 years ago). Also, I am interested in learning about the muzzleloading world.

I am about to purchase my first muzzleloader, so I will probably ask a lot of questions, be patient, please.

What sort of gun are you getting?
 
Howdy from the Piney woods of East Texas ! Former Army grunt ground pounder here. Might I suggest before tossing cin on the counter that you seek out a group or so of BP shooters and observe their shooting have a good chat and a cup of Jo with them to see and handle their fine firearms and accessories !
