After thanking Mr. Brooks for his tutorial, here I present my first Jaeger rifle which is now in-the-white using web-only resources. This rifle is a 2 piece take-down to make it fit into my air-travel baggage without sacrificing 50 pounds of luggage for a 10 pound guncase and to avoid surcharges. If you take a close look you will see a diagonal cut in the bulbous forestock.
Enjoy!

I`ll post the finished piece in about a week...

Ok,I will shoot the gun for the first time today and will take pictures as well. I am still waiting for the final ramrod, but I think you will get an impression of it anyhow. 0.62 Jaeger, swamped RICE barrel,take-down cherry stock, sliding wooden patchbox. All furniture was browned.Barrel and iron furniture from TotW, stock self-shaped from a cherry plank,LOP 12",cast-off 3/8", drop 2.3"

Where'd the heck you go?

I been checking back here each day for a report on how your new Jaeger shoots, AND finished pictures..

Just before getting shooting it in and making pictures, my digital camera went out on me. Since I am not a real fan of making pictures all the time, I waited to get me a new one.
Finally, I have the pictures of that rifle which is stored at my friend in the US. It shoots 1" groups at 65 yards, if it shoots worse I usually goofed up
Sorry for the long wait...
