But if they know the value, and everyone around knows about blackpowder guns, why are they sitting on what seems to be an overpriced rifle? With a load in it? And a possibly bad barrel? If they, and the folks around, know this stuff, why is it languishing? Just bad material? Then why the high price? Why no photographs? Too many questions, je pense!

If it was real, they would have put it in an auction like Rock Island, long ago. They are just waiting for P.T. Barnum's unsuspecting sucker to show up with $1,800.00 worth of STUPID MONEY to buy it.
