1850's J&d Little .38cal half stock with a good bore! Its not perfect, but it should clean up easily and shoot well. This barrel is 36" long and is 1" across the flats. The only missing part on the barrel is the tenon where it pinned at the nose cap. I currently have leather wrap ties around the stock and barrel.

Cracks: Cracked on both sides by the front entry pipe due the that tenon being missing. Theres some flex without it and it cracked when the guy shipped it to me. I can be repaired easily and bedded. One slight hairline crack front of the lock. Super minor. Missing small section of wood a the toe plate ( brass was bent over to protect wood from further damage). Pulling back the hammer, theres a fairly decent chunk of wood missing. I didn't notice it until now when i pulled the hammer back to inspect this area. The stock is really solid from something that old from the 1850s! Gorgeous maple stock as you can see from the pictures.

With some work, this could easily be put back to shooting use or do as I have done, hang it on the wall and admire it, and use it for a prop in pictures. ** Rifle does come with the ramrod as well**

Asking $550 shipped

Note the missing section of wood behind the tang * lock side *

Hi, is it the barrel tenon that's missing or the pin or both?
Thanks
