I'm thinking the Ampco Bronze nipples would be similar to Pedersoli's beryllium nipples.

Good info. I agree about the Pedersoli website, it's not real helpful although it does confirm the size. Anyhow, Track of the Wolf has the right ones in hardened steel, same as what's on the rifle so likely go with them and get myself a good nipple wrench while I am at it. The little pliers I am using aren't the best. Thanks again...kind of like a muzzle loading encyclopedia being on here....
