Based on some threads and here and very limited research, my best guess is this is an FIE New Model Navy .36

Based on the date codes listed in the copied thread, it's probably from 1971. Unless, of course, that scrawl of a "7" is actually a "1" making this gun from 1965.

I found this on another forum some time ago: “[PR] was the mark used by Fabbrica d'Armi Esterina Riva for their black powder replicas line, imported by FIE (Firearms Import Export).“ I’ve usually seen the PR stamp on the grip frame like yours, followed by FIE. I’ve had two so marked. And I’d say that’s definitely a 7.

I, too, see that as a well-stamped 7. The coat of arms is that of the city of Gardone Val Trompia, location of the Italian national proof house, and home of Beretta, the oldest commercial company on Earth. The wreathed star over the shield denotes the symbol of the Republic of Italy. The same star over PN denotes 'Pulvero nero' = black powder.
