  • Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.

Welcome to the Forum. AKA "Muzzleloading College". So much to learn here, even for this almost 74 year old starting back in '57.

Those were the finest guns in the CVA traditional line, IMHO; I believe the barrels were made by Douglas or Green Mountain out of WV; have two in flintlock.

Welcome Charlie! Glad to have you here, hope that you like it well enough to explore the vast amount of information available to you. There have been some very interesting strings about mountain and plains rifles.
Ask lots of questions if you like, answers sometimes "dribble in", so don't feel offended if a reply seems delayed - many of us have "day jobs", others of us seem to sort of live here.
If you have trouble navigating the site, "Zonie" or Angie will hep, "Stumpkiller" as well, I believe. Just post a "Help" message.
Welcome, hope that you stay.
