Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
Looks like there is a crack running through the nail and on top of the screw. So maybe the nail and screw are holding it together? That's what it looks like to me but I could be way off too. That's happened a few times in my life.
so if I remove the screw from the trigger guard nothing gives??? or comes out.
removing the screw inside would be easy.
I little concerned about the nail. any ideas about how to safely remove this?
I only ask because some snowy snowed in time I might strip her. re-stain in a dirty black brown.....and finish with BLO. all the while correcting some Finish problems.
overall I'm very happy with this piece for the price.
