Split up a slice of 24" log I shoot into end on to trap bullets and reuse the lead. Got 6 and 1/2 pounds of bullets, mostly balls with a few Minies and this one. This Whitworth bullet got slowed up by punching thru a .58 Minie and didn't bury it's self deeper with the rest of the still unrecovered Whitworth bullets. Looks like the super hard Whitworth bullet could be used again if freed from the Minie.
