REDUCED I have had this Hopkins and Allen drop in barrel for sale for awhile. Finally found a trapdoor stock that had been modified for reasonable price. H&A made these barrels in late 60s-earĺy 70s. Drop in to 1873 Trapdoor stocks. Hammer replaces TD one. So this is a fully functional. 45 muzzleloading rifle in trapdoor stock with lock. LOP 13.25. Twust is 1:66ish. Weighs in at around 8 pounds. Uses musket caps. Has a Williams peep sight and beaded ramp front sight. Shiny bore with a few minor pits. $375 + Shipping.

What is the LOP
Weight
Twist rate
Could it be converted to use regular percussion caps
Thanks

Back in the 70's that was the first muzzleloader that I ever had. It was ugly as pooting in church (Mama always said that was as ugly as you could get) but it hit what i pointed it at. It was very accurate,
I enjoy looking at your for sale posts to see what nice or unusual gun you will come up with next. I know that doesn't put any money in the bank for ya' but thanks

LOL! Thanks. Sometimes just the moral support is enough.
