So I'm waiting for a Pedersoli Scout Carbine flintlock in .32caliber to show up on my doorstep. If anyone has had any experiences with this particular muzzleloader it would be great if you would share that with me. Which loads you use would be nice also any issues you have had with this particular muzzleloadier. Thanks in advance.

Was there a reason for not ordering it?

Well, after waffling between the Cub and the Scout (love everything about the Scout except the rear sight, where I like the Cub's better) I started looking at kits and got turned off by the pricing and nickel and dime shipping. More like $15 and $20 shipping, lol. Seriously, if Dixie can ship a built long gun for 18.95 (and no sales tax) I'm not going to pay 40 + 15 + 20 on something that costs 500 more in kit form. Plus tax. I'd be better off holding out for something to pop up at TVM. IMO.

Then I started looking for a used 32 or 36 and didn't see anything I wanted.

Plus I still have a BB carbine I've only shot once and need to develop loads for. And I'm getting a Traditions Tennessee in the mail next week (couldn't pass up the price on that impulse buy).

So basically I am just taking time off from buying another ML at the moment. Maybe when the weather breaks. I do need something under .45 so I can hunt small game in my state with something other than shot.

My Pedersoli Scout Carbine flintlock. 32 caliber rifle has shown up. I'm quite pleased at the fit and finish of this little rifle. I'll have to wait until Monday to try her out. Waiting on a few odds and ends to make shooting it more pleasurable. A designated loading and cleaning rod with the proper ends.

Congrats on the new gun.

There's a thread going right now so you can figure out *exactly* what the powder charge should be...
🤪

I have some .310 balls right now but will be getting some other sizes to work up a decent load. I realized that they were small but was kind of taken back at how small these .32 cal balls are. Congratulations on your new Kentucky .32 and have fun.
