Hi
I pick this muzzle loader up a few weeks ago. At first look from a distance I thought it was a old 22 or toy gun by just looking at the bolt and spring in the back. After looking around in the shop and glancing up at the wall again I notice size of the barrel. asking the shopkeeper if I can take a closer look at the rife. The gun strike me weird, it had a old antique patina. barrel band had a hammered surface. As for the rear bolts when pulled back you could see the nipple. Their are no markings that I could see. The wood stock is not machine made you can tell in few places it wasn't completely sanded down right. The bore is 10.4mm and with an endoscope I could see some riffling or may grooves. The ram rod has a worm made on the end and doesn't come off .This gun has all traits of being very old but a design I never seen before

someone at some time installed thumbtacks on the gun to make it look like a trade rifle

Could someone help me find information on this

Someone’s home made gun. I wouldn’t shoot it. But inlines are verboten here……

It’s home made all right. I wonder if it’s from the Philippines, I’ve seen pictures of a few homemade guns from there, fits right in!

Nifty. Check out our sister site Modern Muzzleloaders.
When I log on to the Modern Muzzleloader site, I get this message:

I had that pop up when I tried to log onto irs.gov one time. If they could get you just by logging onto a legit site we'd all be got by now.....

Interesting looking gun. In Idaho, in-line black powder rifles are not allowed, at least that is what I was told. Black powder hunts are supposed to be for traditional black powder firearms, original or reproductions. There are those that are trying to find loopholes in the law so they can take part in something that was intended for traditional sport. They want in on it because the black powder season is before the regular hunting season. In-line black powder rifles do not interest me other than as an oddity.
