Sorting through my box of scraps, I found some 9-10 oz veg tan and decided to cut some .54 wads to experiment with as an over powder gas seal. As I was cutting them out, I noticed a use for the leftovers as a leather speed loader. One layer was ok for carrying in the box and two layers were thick enough to hold the load securely enough to wear around the neck. I think I will develop a stitched loader for 5, and 10 shots.
