Hey guys,

I am looking for some hawk handles, been thinking about some Osage Orange. :hmm:

It's tough to work with but just about bomb proof.

Any Ideas?

Ebay should have Osage if your looking to make your own. I bought a couple curly maple boards there for hawk handles. I've made 18 handles out of one board that cost less than $20 shipped.

Do what the old guys did. Walk out in the woods, find a suitable branch or sapling and make a handle. Maple, hickory or ash.

When my original hickory handles go under, I make replacements from hedge/osage orange/bois d'arc. I have not replaced osage orange handles yet.
