I found #11 CCI percussion caps at Walmart today - finally

In their skimpy blackpowder display was box of 10 blister packs of #1 CCI percussion caps .... I couldn't believe my eyes !! I bought 6 blister packs of the tins and left the other 4 for other folks. 6 tins will last me easily several years. I was happy to get them. I may not see them again for quite a while. I went through the self serve register so the cashier couldn't limit me to just one tin.

I was in the local Walmart about 2 weeks ago. They had quite a bit of muzzleloader supplies, number 11 caps too. I bought 2 tins.

I checked my local Walmart a few days ago, the shelf slot for the caps was still empty, they had 209s but those would be of no use to me.

I keep buying 2 or 3 hundred whenever I bump into them on the rack. Only one cap gun these days but I'll never run out.
Plenty of powder and lead here too. Bought a little here and there when the price was good. I think I should start on a flint collection next.
Shortages, real or panic driven, dont matter if you just add a few things at a time faster than you are using them.

I keep checking the ones in east Tennessee but so far nothing but the inline stuff. Not sure why I need them. The last two rifles that have followed me home have been flint. I think I'm heading down another slippery slope with them.

I found a peg full at Sportsmans Warehouse. I bought one to shoot my revolver. (CCI 11). And a box of .451 Hornady balls. Woo hoo.
