This is a rifle I built back in 2014 for a very close relative. He bought the parts an I built it for him. He hunted with it a few times an got a couple does with it an then he discovered girls an it got put on the back burner. I bought it back cause its a really accurate rifle but I dont need it an it needs to be doing what it was built for. First an only thing to be called a disclaimer is when I got the rifle nearly finished the 15 yr old owner wanted to help so I drew off the molding lines an let him cut them with my V chisel like he has watched me do before an he got them a little wobbly. Thats the only thing I know of wrong with this rifle just simply cosmetic. It could easily be redone an a tad more wood taken off but none of that matters when there is a whitetail 40 yrds in its sights. The specs on this gun is a 38 inch 54 cal Charles Burton C weight swamped barrel. Lock is a Caywood wilson english lock that sparks really well and is like all Caywoods lock fast as lightning. The Red maple stock came from pecatonica. The brass hardware an trigger came from track except for the strap buttplate an sideplate which I made but was allowed to copy by Don Bruton. The front sight is a 1962 silver quarter. Price on this Hunter is $1200.00 firm an I will ship an insure to the lower 48. Payment is usps postal money order only. I will ship in a wooden crate so maybe it will be postage worker proof
