I also had time to make this item for hunting. It contains two powder tubes to hold my hunting load, ball block for two reloads, short starter, and capper. Fits is the pocket of my hunting jacket in case I need a reload. IMG_0575.JPG IMG_0574.JPG

Nice, if it works for you that's all that matters, Things such as this is what makes the hobby interesting the individual need and the ability to create. I am sure some will chirp in with the authentic, documentation issues but you saw a need and proceeded to create a item that will make it efficient for you. I firmly think this is where a lot of folks miss the target on equipment not all frontiersmen had the means or money to buy items so they made them as they saw fit for there needs. For me this is one of aspects that I find comforting the ability to make the items that I need, some are documentable some are not. But fully covers the intended purpose of my needs. GOOD JOB let us know how the item works out for you and if it speeds up the loading process appears it will.

I realized after I posted this that it appears that I just made this "speed loader" when in fact, I have been using it now for two years. So far no complaints. I like the fact that I can slip it into the pocket of my hunting coat, or pants depending on the weather. So far I have not used it for a fast reload. The last two deer I shot were DRT. Just reloaded just in case one of the deer was only stunned.
