Goodmorning from Western washington! I posting here to hopefully get some feedback from other members who hunt/shoot on the Eastside.

If you haven't already heard, they are looking to build a new international Airport in Western WA. There's a high chance I'm going the loose my home to the construction and am setting my sights Eastside. I have two children whom I want to give the opportunity to wander public land with muzzloader.

Where is a good place to move Eastside that is in close proximity to State Forest land and other public land? Cheap land? Fairly priced housing?

Thanks in advance,

-steve

Knowing what you or your spouse do for a living would help to direct you to nice areas where you could find employment and therefore which forests or state land might be closest.

In order of nice places with good schools, Hospitals, lower crime rates and growth areas.
(1) Tri-Cities
(2) Hermiston, Ore.
(3) Moses Lake
(4) Spokane. Has good areas and ruff areas.
(5) Wenatchee
(6) Walla Walla
All within 100 miles of State and National Forests.
Hope this helps. Remember you are moving for a reason. Please leave those reasons west of the Cascades.
