Yeah, we do stuff like that all the time! Welcome from Maryland!
What part of the line star state do you hail from? I got some people not far from Austin. I spent a couple years at Ft Hood in the 70s. Probably, the best time of my life!View attachment 210474
1862 Bridesberg musket I restored to working condition from a sporterized barn find.
Oh man, shes a beauty! thanks for sharing! I hail from the Conroe area just north of Houston and the Woodlands.

Welcome from New Hampshire. I grew up in the Pasadena area. My Dad was in the Air Force and stationed at Ellington. I have a cousin living in Conroe plus I spent many happy times at the BSA camp there. I’m sure the area has changed a wee bit in the last 60 years.
sure is pretty over here, i grew up for a time around portland/corpus christi area but we found ourself a nice little tucked away spot up here that isnt too noisy and i like conroe for the most part. The growth around here has been pretty insane, so many new people coming in.

I rode through that area a couple years ago traveling Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana to Austin. I can't believe how built up everything has gotten in the last 40 some odd years.
