I actually signed on several months ago, but never got around to posting anything. But today I decided to give it a try. I even got my Avatar set up. So howdy from South Texas.My only hang up is computers , I don' know very much in that department. Be patient.

Thank you,I probably would have gotten around to using this forum several months ago. But I'm having trouble with this tablet. Most members probably use a desk top computer but all I have is a tablet that isn' working too fast.

Oh sorry I didn't mention my "smokepolers". I have a CVA 45 +50 cal. Also a ASM 1851Navy . I bought the revolver second hand recently at a pawn shop and I do hope it hasn' been abused. (Brass frame) Oh I also have 2 other CVA handguns. The Derringer and Kentucky pistol.

I'm about half way between San Antonio and Corpus Christi. Brush country! That' part of my problem. I live in a very small town and there is really not many places to shoot down here unless you're willing to shell out a few bucks.

So far all of my shooting black powder has been percussion. I'd like to give flintlocks a try in the future.
