To Edit your thread title look to the far right side of the original post for the 3 dots. That is a drop down menu. A sponsor should see edit thread and lock thread.

If you click on edit thread, it will give you the thread title and if you unclick that unlocked, it will become a locked thread. You do not get the sticky portion of that box, that's for mods and admins. :)

Make your changes, then save.

There is the option to add ForSale Sold Closed and Withdrawn Prefixes to a new title, and later that can change with this edit.

Here is a Classified thread title and showing the drop down for changing the For Sale to Sold.

This should make marking something sold very timely, and closing that thread when sold.

Would this pertain to other threads other than those in the Classifieds ? If so, it isn’t an available option, unless it is time limited.

Personally, I’d like to see the option to edit titles for most members. For instance if someone asked a question and it was answered to the OP’s satisfaction, then the OP could edit the title to include (SOLVED) to the question.

That way anyone looking for a solution to question they may have, can more easily find the answer (hopefully). I am a moderator on a motorcycle forum and that has worked fairly well. Besides, it may cut down on the off topic rambling and thread jacking I’ve seen in my short time here.
