Depends if you are measuring the 25 grains of T7 by weight or volume? Forget the exact number, but about 19.25 grains of T7 by weight (and volume) is equivalent to approximately 25 grains of blackpowder by weight (and volume). Pay attention to where you get your load data and how you use it. Assuming you are measuring by volume equivalent (to blackpowder), you should get somewhere around 364 25 grain loads from a pound of T7.Looking to buy 777 powder. How many rounds will it make for 25 grain loads in .44 caliber?
Black Gunpowder and the subs should be measured by volume not weight. The subs are lighter and going by weight might result in rapid wear or damage to the gun or shooter. I use a 20 grain VOLUME of FFFg Black Gunpowder in my Colt .44 with a ball which makes a very comfortable plinking load. Thanks! Just what I was looking for. I am familiar with smokeless weights and just now getting into BP.
