I’m going to allow for the possibility that the O.P. is on the level here, and as an apparently new member, might be simply excited about being here. Agreed, his post could have been slightly less “invasive” but could still have been asking well-meaning questions.

O.P., in these present days, half of these guys will fudge and mumble if their wives ask them for a count. No one’s going to post their inventory (if they have one, which i of course do not) on the internet. I’m guessing here, of course, that your main interest regards display. I’m guessing you’re interested in hanging a few on the wall to gaze upon, and you’re savvy enough to inquire of others if with their experience they do the same. Sure don’t hurt to ask; at least you don’t need to be called names for doing so.

If i understand your post, the two biggest issues are safety (in the home) and security (think burglary). Use your head accordingly. Weigh the potential risks and use your head.
