Hi All. I recently purchased a H&A UnderHammer Target Pistol and have a question regarding the grip. My example has been modified for 'Free Pistol' shooting and the grip is now a crude orthopaedic copy.

My question is, did these pistols originally have a Thompson SMG grip fitted or is this a popular urban myth?
If yes, then I may be able to purchase one here in the UK as I would very much like to convert it back to its original state. Thanks in anticipation!

Numrich (Gun Parts Corp.) owned the Thompson name and was building full auto Thompsons at the time and also semi autos too. The H&A grip was a modification of the Thompson but you couldn't make an H&A grip out of a completed Thompson grip. Rifleman 1776 is correct in that you could make a grip very easily and one that would suit you.
