I appreciate that and that reminds me of when I did the "poxy." When I was mixing it I was getting irritated that I wasn't getting the right color. I was about to mix up the third batch when I looked over and seen a container of stuff that just might work. Got to mixing, throw a bit more here, looked, just a pinch more, that should do it. Ended up with a stout, thick goop and got to smooching (sp) the box. Smoothed it out as well as I could to dry and hoped the mix wasn't hard as platinum. The next day I got the blades and tested the now hardening mix and it was great to work with, exactly how I needed. Got the sanding down to about 400 grip then left her for a coupla days to really harden, was still easy to work with.
I didn't have any black, anything, for the mix. All I had was the fine sift from the bottom of a can after making a batch of black powder. Worked like a charm, nice color also.
