I live in the far Northeast of the U.S. and north of over 90% of the population of Canada, close to a border where there are buildings and facilities that are half in the U.S. and half in Canada or that you have to enter one country or the other and come back, to get to a place in the country you originated from.
Before the lockdown we did a lot of our regular shopping, etc in Canada
