Been lurking for a few weeks, now it's time for an intro: Air Force vet - 22 years,1971 to 1993. First ML - Navy Arms? Zouave back in 1970 to shoot with the NSSA for a summer before the Air Force. Much later I joined up with SASS when they moved out here. Now that was fun!! Shot Pyrodex in my .38s and .44s, but sadly arthritis set into my fingers and ended that - would not be cool to drop a loaded six gun on the firing line. So bye-bye to SASS. Now it's time to get back into the nice slow pace of MLs. Got a nearly new percussion 50 cal Renegade from gunbroker, (didn't know about the cap shortage), so now there is a Traditions Flintlock Mountain Rifle kit here awaiting assembly. No stinkin' caps needed. I ordered black powder from Grafs for the flintlock and still have a few pounds of Pyrodex and triple 7 for the Renegade. Almost ready to hit the range again.
