Hershel House is gone!

The CLA has just reported the death of Hershel House! I always wanted a rifle by him.

You can still find his rifles occasionally, if you have a fat wallet. He hasn't made but one in the last several years.
I owned one for several years.

I sure hated to hear this. My son & I met Hershel at the Jackson trade fair when he used to do the gun building classes (along with Frank and his brother John). He was so down to earth and willing to talk & answer any questions you had, whether you were in the gun building class or not. He was a good man who lived life on his own terms.
