I pan lube for some single shots. I stand the bullets up in a pie pan and pour the melted lube around them until the level is right. Once the lube has cooled I put the pan in the freezer for awhile. The lube will shrink as is it freezes and will pop away from the edges of the pan. Then I remove the lube and the bullets together. After the lube has warmed up some the bullets can be pushed out with my thumb. The next batch of bullets go into the holes left by the first batch and the lube is melted on a hot plate to start the process over. I use the alox/beeswax lube. I don't know how this would work with something like Crisco and I don't know how it would work with hollow base minnies. Some of the fellows I shoot with use Crisco for their muskets with good results but they hand lube every bullet.
