I’m trying to identify this gun. The hammer was broke so my gunsmith made this one so we could get everything working and freed up. The two stamps have the words London and Clark which I believe is the gun maker. I’ve heard many different ideas of what type of gun it may be.

This belonged to my grandfather and I really don’t have much info.

I’ve attached some pics

Thanks for any help

That’s what I thought originally but it seems too short and nothing on the barrel side to keep it out of the dirt

Maybe like a sword cane it has/had a 'sheath/holster' to make up the rest of the cane? Or maybe it's one of those oddball 'parlor guns' that had a brief spell of popularity back in the day?

Holster/sheath seems to make sense. I can’t find any way to attach a cane portion to the gun.

Thnx
Tom
