Hi,
It is a crude attempt to reproduce the ivory handled pistols from Maastricht in the Netherlands made during the 17th century. The originals usually had wheelocks or early flintlocks.

I had one about 30 years ago for about 90 minutes. I traded for it and then a friend traded me out of it and another friend got it from him, called it the traveling pistol.

OK found 1973 DGW catalog and 20 painful (due to prices at that time) found a percussion version. Old man still has some working grey cells Ja oder nein!!!???
