Help identifing SXS muzzleloader

    I have know idea what type of muzzleloader this is, I’m not familiar with the action or the maker. The makers name is marked on the midrib, but it is to faint to read. Beautiful made weapon, love to learn more about it.
    Any info would be much appreciated.

    That is a pinfire shotgun, probably French, possibly Belgian. It fires self contained cartridges somewhat similar to modern shotgun shells and cannot be discussed on this board.

    I had a beautiful but fairly plain Darne of the forbidden variety many years back. I bought it for around £250 and sold it about ten years later for £1000. Great deal.
