My goals are making a shooter and a hunting piece. I love black powder rifles but I'm not tied only to traditional pieces. So any ideas both traditional, modern, or hard lessons learned that I can work into a fine weapon.

For options as you asked and food for thought here are two smoothbore shotguns a 10mm and a 28ga both are Spanish made. These two are projects but I have a 3rd 28 gauge shooter, these little guys are fun.

Could I get a better picture of the 28 gauge, some stock dimensions( length, width at lock, forearm, heel, ect.
I would like to model mine after it.
