I have been a shooter most of my life and have just purchased my first muzzel loading firearm, a British made Parkerhale 1858 Enfield 2 band navel smooth bore musket in great condition, Birmangham proofed with date mark BC1 in circle denotes it was proofed in 1977 thank's to the date list posted on here, cerial no. 119x and great fun it is too, looking forward to taking part in further discussions, mainly on Enfields.
