I am new to the muzzle loading scene, but have hunted all my life.W.Va.is having a new hunting season starting this year,it starts tomorrow, and runs thru Sunday, it is called Heritage season, and you must use a traditional long,or recurve bow,or a flint lock,or side lock percussion muzzle loader.I bought an old percussion day before yesterday, and figured I would take up muzzle loading.

Welcome.

I like the sounds of that "Heritage" season. They used to call it "Primative" in NY but that no longer applies.
It's a pretty short season, but I might get lucky and see something I feel like shooting. We can take either sex,but I have my freezer packed,so I will be somewhat selective on what I take a shot at.
