Perhaps we're just too friendly for our own good?

Perhaps if we said something along to the lines of

'Well, we're here, what to do want to talk about?'

Anyhow, the guy in the electric wheelchair may well be too ill to respond, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. The absence of the person from North Wales is very sad, at least to my mind. I was raised by my grandparents in North Wales and have a great affinity to it, and I'm even a pretty useful Welsh-speaker, thanks to my grandfather and his non-English speaking relatives.

Sorry to sound like the SNP, do you mean the UK or Just England? Anyway greetings from north of the border!

Mr Smoothy - we are being ignored by the person from Wales as well as the OP. I was raised by my Welsh-speaking grandfather and his English wife in North Wales. I was left with a legacy of the language that I've kept up to this very day.
